ARTIST'S STATEMENT
My paintings aim to capture the mystical and sensual aspects of existence, as this is where I truly connect with myself. Through my art, I express emotions such as passion, love, pain, and the desire for connection. There is a deep sense of tranquility in my work, reflecting the calm strength of the ocean and the endless energy that gives rise to the world, helping to blur the lines between ourselves and the energy around us.
My intention is to reveal deeper parts of ourselves to those searching for purpose and meaning, just as I am. By illustrating the emotions I feel, I hope to strengthen my own connection to them and encourage others to explore these emotions through my art. When I refer to "emotions," I mean our intuition or sixth sense, which guides us toward inner peace in a chaotic world. I want viewers to access this feeling as they navigate the complexities of life and break free from limitations. By building a strong bond with our true selves—our emotions—we can live with awareness and grace, flowing naturally through life without fear or ego, filled with inner joy and unaffected by outside influences.
My inspirations come from how I perceive the world through my senses. I primarily use oils for painting, focusing on the beauty and sensuality of composition, color harmony, and the flow of brushstrokes. I've discovered that my style is known as sfumato, which involves blending colors to create smooth transitions.
This technique reflects my view of human essence as a fluid energy filled with sensuality and love, capable of embodying both beauty and pain in harmony. In my artwork, realism and expressionism compete for prominence, mirroring my own internal struggle to balance emotion and intellect. I aim to highlight the contrast between limited and limitless forms in a seamless way. My goal is to express the formless within the concrete reality of my paintings and to bring joy to the hearts of viewers.
I hope that viewers of my artwork can feel the emotions within it, allowing them to connect with others who aspire to transcend the stories and limitations of our dualistic world, which is often mistakenly seen as our true reality.
